Cardvark is a mobile app that stores your loyalty cards, gift cards, prepaid cards, and cinema vouchers in one place. You can track balances, get reminders before your cards expire and rest easy knowing your cards are stored encrypted on your device.

Yes. Cardvark is free to download on iOS and Android. The free version is limited to 10 cards and manual backups. A one-time Pro upgrade removes the card limit and unlocks automatic cloud backups; no subscription required.

Free users can store up to 10 cards. Pro users can store an unlimited number of cards and can enable automatic cloud backups. Every other feature (expiry notifications, balance tracking, linked cards, offline use, encryption) is the same on both plans.

Cardvark is available on iOS and Android.

Loyalty cards, gift cards, prepaid cards, cinema vouchers and more! You can store anything that has a barcode or member number; just pick the "Other" option in the most relevant category.

Yes. After each spend you can update the remaining balance with a few taps.

Cardvark sends a push notification 7 days before a card expires and again 1 day before so you always remember to spend your cards.

Yes. All your cards are stored on your device, so the app works offline.

Yes. Cardvark supports import and export at any time, so your data stays yours. You can use this to migrate to a new device or to keep your own offline backup.

No.

Your card details are stored in an encrypted database on your phone and are never sent to Cardvark's servers. We cannot see, access, or recover your cards under any circumstances. Optional cloud backups are stored in your own iCloud or Google Drive account.

No, there is no advertising and no third-party trackers in Cardvark.

If you've deleted the app without a backup, your cards are lost forever; we can't help you recover your cards because we don't store them on our servers. If you've enabled cloud backup, you can sign back into your iCloud or Google account on a new device and restore your cards.

Optionally, yes. You can back up to your own iCloud (on iOS) or Google Drive (on Android). Backups go to a private, app-only container - Cardvark cannot see any other files in your iCloud or Google Drive account. On Pro, you can also enable automatic backups that run whenever you change a card.

Yes. If you use Stocard (or have been looking for an alternative since it was acquired by Klarna), Cardvark offers the same functionality plus more! You can store the same kinds of cards and benefit from stronger privacy controls (no user accounts, no tracking, no ads) and first-class support for gift cards and balance tracking.

Cardvark is similar in purpose but different in design. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet can hold the same cards, but they don't let you search, sort, or group cards, and gift card support is limited. Cardvark is built specifically for managing a folder-full of loyalty, gift, prepaid, and cinema cards, with search, balance tracking, expiry reminders, and related-card views.

Cardvark is designed for people with more than a handful of cards. You can search by store, sort by expiry date, group related cards (so a loyalty card surfaces the gift cards you own for the same store), and track balances. It's also privacy-first: no account, no tracking, and your data stays on your phone.

Yes. Both are in the default store directory, as well as most major Australian loyalty programs. You can store the card number, display the barcode at checkout, and see any related gift cards you own (for example, your Flybuys card will show your Coles and Bunnings cards below it).

Cardvark launched in Australia and is expanding to more countries over time. The store directory is configured per country, so you'll see the providers relevant to where you are.

You can still add the card as an "Other" entry and it will work just like any other card. If you'd like us to add the retailer to the built-in directory (with the right logo and card format), suggest a retailer and we'll look into it.
